5 Weapons Leaked from In the Name of the Tsar

We weren’t supposed to know about these weapons until the Battlefield 1 DLC launched.

Perino Model 1908

Another weapon that was discovered within Battlefield 1’s CTE is the Perino Model 1908, a Support Class weapon of Italian origin. There’s not much documentation of the Perino Model 1908, though from what records remain, the assault version of this machine gun lacked any kind of stock.

With no stock, the Perino Model 1908 is sure to have a bit of a kick.

It will be interesting to see how DICE implement this machine gun into Battlefield 1, as the real-world version was monstrously heavy and unwieldy. Even its lightest model weighed 15 kilograms (33 lb), making it a chore to carry and use.

Originally, the Perino Model 1908 was designed to use a tripod, so perhaps this will be a mortar-like gadget for the Support Class. Though it's looking like the Perino is firmly planted in the primary weapon slot.
