The T-34-85 Rudy is quite an interesting tank in itself, with its unique paintjob and naming after the Polish TV series “Czterej pancerni i pies”, or “Four tank-men and a dog”, initially created after the novel.

The paintjob and name isn’t the only thing that carried over from the show, however, as the dog Szarik joins the rest of the crew in the Rudy (though it cannot be transferred like the rest of the crew can, and provides no advantages either). The thing about Szarik that catches most players off-guard while playing their Rudy for the first time is the fact that he barks whenever your Sixth Sense skill goes off, giving the player an audio confirmation that they’ve been spotted. Good boy.
