7 Things You Didn't Know About World of Tanks

All the weird and wonderful aspects of World of Tanks you might not know about.

The Minimap

An interesting concept, albeit foreign to most, the minimap. If you press the “M” key you gain access to a tool which provides the location of every spotted enemy and friendly vehicle within your spotting or radio range. By pressing the “+” and “-“ keys you’re able to adjust the size of this ‘minimap’ to fit your preference. It’s literally a map that only takes up a portion of your screen, but – providing you pay attention to it – prevents any enemies from flanking you, tells you exactly where your backup is, and points you to the exact location of enemy tanks to shoot.

Not only this, but you gain access to every nook and cranny of each map you play on from an overhead view. Enable the elusive Minimap circles and read my guide on view, spotting, and signal range and you’ll be an unstoppable unicum in no time. Don’t tell the pubbies the “minimap” exists though, they might just report you for hacking.

That finishes this list for Things You Didn’t Know about World of Tanks. Are there any secrets you know about that I perhaps missed?
