Best Maps for Brawling in World of Tanks

Trade blows from close range with thick steel and huge guns.

Ruinberg

Regardless of which spawn you’re given, North or South, Ruinberg offers numerous angles of attack in its brawling area in the Western part of the map. The 3-line is typically for poking and shot trading while side scraping or hull down, rather than actively pushing. Artillery will often have shots on more open areas around this location, so you don’t want to get caught off-guard in the middle of a street. That being said, if uncontested you’re certainly able to utilise the lanes to flank around to both the 1/2 lines, pressuring them from both angles.

The 1/2 lines are able to freely focus on any lane they want to in a crossfire, typically staying on their own respective sides until it’s time to push in order to avoid the tanks sitting on the E/H lines, especially in the small village to the East. It’s not uncommon for Glass Cannons to position themselves here in order to punish tanks which overcommit to get shots elsewhere.
