Better Cloud Services
Another frustrating limitation of the PlayStation 4 that we hope Sony addresses with the PlayStation 5, is the lack of services with the cloud. One example is the PS4’s limited video upload options. As it stands, the only way to get a clip online is to share it on Facebook or upload it straight to YouTube. While these are alright, there aren’t enough choices for gamers who want the footage to edit into a sweet montage.
Over in the Microsoft camp, Xbox One users can upload their footage to the cloud or the OneDrive, login to their computers and download the video. It’s a simple feature we’d love to see included in the PS5.
Similarly, saving your games to the cloud isn’t straight-forward on the PlayStation 4. If you go to a friend’s place and sign into your account, you have to go into Settings each time you download your game saves. Having the PlayStation do this automatically would make gaming a smoother process, with less diving through settings trying to do it yourself.
