What Time Does the Destiny 2 Beta End

The Destiny 2 PC Beta is finishing soon, so get in before the fun ends.

There have been two Destiny 2 Betas so far, coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as the PC only a couple of weeks after the first two. It’s fairly safe to say that it has been an enormous success, with hundreds of thousands of gamers flocking to the virtual world to test out a few elements of Bungies next instalment in the Destiny franchise.

However, all the fun is going to be over soon, as all good things must come to an end. The Destiny 2 PC Beta will end shortly, but rest assured, we’re only a couple of months away from its release.

Destiny 2 PC Beta End Time

The Destiny 2 PC Beta end time is 10 AM Pacific, on August 31, according to the Bungie.net Help Article. That means the Destiny 2 PC Beta is mere hours away from ending – at the time of this writing, there are only five hours left of the beta, only five hours of Strikes, and only five hours left of Crucible. That's simply not enough time for me to continue kicking ass on Javelin-4!

For some reason, Bungie decided that, instead of having the Destiny 2 PC Beta over the weekend and end during the work week, that the majority of the beta will occur smack-bang in the middle of a work week. Surely that’s not an ideal time to stress-test the servers and see whether there is an interest. People have jobs and college, and other commitments during the week.

While it’s unlikely that the Destiny 2 PC Beta will be extended, we’ll be sure to let you know if we hear anything of the sort. Make sure to get in as much play time as you can, because when the beta end time rolls around, there will be no Destiny 2 until October 24 for you PC gamers. However, if you’re like myself and don’t mind slummin’ it on console, you can pick up a copy of Destiny 2 on September 6 to try and tide you over. It’s going to be tough playing at 30fps for a month and a bit. Make sure to bookmark out Destiny 2 hub to keep updated on everything Destiny!
