Tier 6 – Type 64

As mentioned in the Highest Win Rate Tanks of July article, the Type 64 was indirectly buffed in Update 9.18 as Scout Matchmaking was removed for the Light Tank class, and all Standard Light Tanks were adjusted according (or at least, there was an attempt to). Premium vehicles, however, weren’t touched statistically in order to not upset players who purchased such Tanks, meaning these vehicles (including the Type 64) which were previously balanced as if they were a Tank one Tier above them were effectively knocked down a Tier. What this results in is some very, very potent Premium Light Tanks out there – and the Type 64 is no exception. Because of this, it achieved 0.845 average kills per game – higher than any other Tier 6 Tank on the NA server.
