The King of hulldown and Ridgelines, we have a very renowned Heavy Tank.
Though the T29’s mobility and hull armor aren’t too shabby, the tank really is all about the turret armor. A minimum of 275mm effective armor against AP rounds (and therefore even greater against APCR and HEAT) down at Tier 7 is beyond formidable, and the cupola is misleadingly small. Such outstanding armor can hold up against even Tier 9 vehicles with ease. Back this up with a hard-hitting, high-penetration 105mm main armament and you’ll find out exactly why the T29 has such a renown and love from the playerbase.
