M48 Patton
Similarly to the M46 Patton, the M48 received a significant buff to its turret armor in Update 9.20. It was actually entirely reworked, with the cupola shrinking significantly and the turret face gaining new exceptional protection.
Unlike before, you’ll now need very high penetration to punch through any part of the M48’s turret face, and hitting its weak spot will be a fair challenge. This difficulty is increased when the M48 utilises its remarkable short-distance mobility to shift around. The last aspect is the firepower which, again, doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. Though its base dispersion is lacking, this is rarely significant. The main thing is gun handling soft stats and aim time, all of which check all the boxes. Such high DPM and gun consistency on a mobile, well-armored platform sporting 10 degrees of gun depression. Sign me up.
