What's Xur Selling in Destiny 2 - 10/13

Here’s what Xur’s selling on October 13.

You could set your watch to Xur, he sure is one punctual tentacle-faced merchant. As part of Xur’s weekly appearance, he brings with him a collection of Exotic weapons, which is great for those players looking for something to do after finishing the game. What’s more fun than filling out your Exotic weapon and armor collection?

For this week, October 13, Xur can be found in the Watcher’s Grave on Nessus. You will need a collection of Legendary Shards if you want to purchase all of his wares. If you’re running low on Shards, take some time to level up vendors for a Legendary engram.

  • Exotic Weapon: Fighting Lion
  • Hunter Helmet: Knucklehead Radar
  • Titan Boots: Peacekeepers
  • Warlock Chest: Wings of Sacred Dawn

Xur’s inventory this week is rather lacking, considering the Exotic weapon isn’t too flash and the Warlock armor is one of the options from the story mission. However, the Fighting Lion is worth picking up just to complete a collection, even though Grenade Launchers are underpowered at the moment.

Knucklehead Radar is worth every Shard, especially now that the radar takes so long to reappear after aiming down sights. The helmet keeps your radar on screen at all times, which means you won’t need to stick with the current meta of MIDA Multi-Tool and can try out some of the other scouts with vastly superior perk choices.

Wings of the Sacred Dawn are pretty useless as well, unless you happen to be using the Dawnblade perk cluster that rewards in-air kills, even then, it’s uses are severely limited. But hey, it looks pretty stylish.

Peacekeepers are fairly gimmicky, as they reload your Submachine Gun when its stowed. This works pretty well with the MIDA Mini-Tool and MIDA Multi-Tool combo, as you can benefit from the bonus stats while also ensuring your off-hand weapon remains reloaded.

Hopefully next week Xur will be selling a few more appealing items, lest he revert back to his original Destiny days of being a pretty boring merchant.
