Monster Hunter World proved to be an enormous success when it launched on consoles back in January, selling over 8m copies. Unfortunately PC players were left out in the cold with no word of an official release date beyond it arriving sometime this year. Fortunately, the worst part of the delay is over and we now know precisely when the excellent Monster Hunter World will release on PC worldwide - and it's far off!
What is the Monster Hunter World PC release date?
After teasing the information last week, Capcom has finally confirmed that Monster Hunter World will be arriving on PC, August 9. PC players will finally be able to dive headfirst into the, ahem, world of World and begin upgrading their Palico and hunting down Deviljho to their heart's delight. We can already smell the delicious meals waiting to be cooked up before each hunt.
To celebrate the news, Capcom has released a new trailer for World's PC release showcasing more than a few of the game's biggest beasties. Check it out below:
