Breath of the Wild Link joins the Mario Kart 8 roster in free update

The latest update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has arrived on Nintendo Switch, and it's brought a special guest to the party. Look!

That's BotW Link taking to the track on his Master Cycle Zero, from the Champion's Ballad DLC for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Fashion watchers will want to know that he's also wearing his Champion's Tunic, and the update also adds the Zelda-fied Ancient Tires to the game's upgrades, as well as a Zelda paraglider.

The update is out now, and completely free, so if you own Mario Kart 8 Deluxes (and if not, why not?) just fire up the Switch and get downloading!
