When does Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes / Season 3 end?

All you need to know about Solstice of Heroes and Season 3's end date in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2's Season 3 has been a cracking resurgence for the game, introducing the fantastic Solstice of Heroes event that encouraged players to hunt down orbs and secure their very own level 400 Resplendent armor. However, the Forsaken expansion is now just around the corner, and time is running out to earn the unique goods and challenges from Season 3. Many players are unsure as to when Season 3 and the Solstice of Heroes will come to a close, but thanks to Bungie's development roadmap we have an exact date. Here's the end date for both Season 3 and the Solstice of Heroes event:

Season 3 / Solstice of Heroes End Date

  • Both Solstice of Heroes and Season 3 end August 28.

Solstice of Heroes effectively marks the end of Season 3 for Destiny 2, and the two will finish together on August 28th. If you're still hoping to get that gear up to Legendary level, now is the time to get your grind on as there are just eight days left to do it. What are you waiting for? Get out there and grab more orbs! Season 3 is the final stage in Year 1 for the game, but Year 2 is already set to kick off with a bang thanks to the launch of the standalone Forsaken DLC arriving September 4.

New Crucible maps, new missions, new game types and new gear are all on the way, so make sure you've tidied up all your Season 3 action before the drop. Players will have the chance to preload Forsaken ahead of its launch from August 28, meaning you can dive in headfirst as soon as it all goes live.

If you're excited about Forsaken, let us know why in the comments! Check back with us here at AllGamers in future for more Destiny 2 content and guides.
