As stated above, Inferno is one of the few characters in Soul Calibur 6 that needs to be unlocked. To get Inferno, you’ll need to complete a requirement in order to unlock him. What is this requirement? Reach Episode 19 and defeat Chronicle of Souls. To do this, simply play through the aforementioned game mode (Chronicle of Souls) until you hit Episode 19.

Get past the challenges in Episode 19 and you’ll complete it, thereby unlocking Inferno for Soul Calibur 6. As for whether or not Inferno is work taking the time to unlock, we think so. If you get invested in the Chronicle of Souls mode, you’ll likely complete Episode 19 on your own anyway, making the unlock an added bonus to your play time.

Meanwhile, Inferno is an extremely strong character with some unique abilities despite being similar in nature to Nightmare. With Inferno being so much fun to play (and a little overpowered), and the Chronicle of Souls mode being well worth the time of completion, we definitely think Inferno is worth the unlock in Soul Calibur 6.
