In Red Dead Redemption 2, there are several story chapters available in the game that help you get closer to protagonist Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang. For example, the tutorial phase of the game spans all of Chapter 1 and even includes some aspects of Chapter 2.
Considering the length of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, players have been searching up how many chapters are in Red Dead Redemption 2 in order to get a better idea as to how many are left. According to Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2 will take you around 60 hours to complete with these 60 hours spanning the course of several story chapters.
While it’s not immediately clear how many story chapters are in Red Dead Redemption 2, the information is readily available online. Right now, Red Dead Redemption 2 has 6 different story chapters. In addition to the 6 main story chapters, Red Dead Redemption 2 also includes 2 epilogue chapters once you’ve finished the game.
If you space out the 60-hour completion time between the game’s 6 main story chapters, it seems as though each one could take around 10 hours to complete each one. However, this isn’t exactly the case. For example, Chapter 1 of Red Dead Redemption 2 only took us around 3 hours to complete. As such, some chapters are inevitably longer than others.

What’s more, the time it takes you to complete each one will vary depending on what you decide to do in the game. If you’re looking to power through the game in order to reach the end, you can do things like skip cutscenes and save exploring for after you’ve completed all of the main missions and objectives.
