Overwatch to get seven-day free trial next week

Join in the fun, cAshe or not.

Overwatch will be free for the almost the entirety of next week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Running November 20-26, Overwatch will be free to download and play to anyone who hasn't purchased the game. If you somehow haven't bought into Blizzard's Hero shooter yet and are keen to try it out with your mates, there really is no better chance. The entirety of the game's content will be available, letting you try all 29 heroes including hot-out-of-the-gates gunslinger Ashe.

You can level up and earn skins, and should you choose to buy in at the end of the trial you'll keep all of the progress you've made. You've even got the chance to preload the game now on Xbox One and PS4 to make sure you can get the most out of the trial.

As part of the event, any players who've linked their Twitch and Blizzard accounts will be able to unlock special Ashe sprays by watching two hours of Overwatch Streams during the Free Trial. They include Ashe, the adorable Bob and their gang from the Reunion cinematic. Check theofficial post on the PlayOverwatch website or the image below to see the precise date for your timezone.
