Fortnite 'Secret Skirmish' announced for 2019
On their blog, Epic Games announced a brand new Fortnite invitational that’s scheduled to take place on February 14 and 15 at a currently undisclosed location. For those interested in checking out the action, it will be broadcast live on the Fortnite Twitch channel. As we get closer to the actual date of the competition, more information on specific broadcast times should be posted.

As its name suggests, the Secret Skirmish event will likely reveal the location where it’s being held and
Right now, Epic has indicated that Secret Skirmish competitors will be comprised of players they’ve personally invited, including top players from previous Open Fortnite competitions. As with previous Fortnite events, participating Secret Skirmish competitors will have their Fortnite skills to the test for a chance to take home a piece of the $500,000 prize pool.
There will likely be a series of event stages with the “Grand Finals” scheduled for the last day of the event, February 15. Additionally, one of the more cryptic things teased by the announcement is the exploration of “additional operations during the two days of competition,” though it’s unclear what Epic means by this statement.
