How to customize the emoticon wheel in Jump Force

Arrange your favorite gestures together and use them to interact with other players in Jump Force.

In Jump Force, players have the ability to use and customize an Emoticon Wheel in order to interact with other players in Umbras Base. At the start of the game, you’re given a default selection of emoticons to use, though you also have the ability to swap them out as needed. For example, if you aren’t a fan of the “Dance 1” emoticon, you can quickly swap it with the “Jotaro Kujo” emoticon.

To help make the process easier, we’ve put together a full guide on how to use and customize the emoticon wheel in Jump Force!

In Jump Force, you can access the Emoticon Wheel in Umbras Base by holding R1 on PlayStation 4 and RB on Xbox One. To use an emoticon on that wheel, you’ll want to rotate between them with your left stick. As you do this, you should notice how different emoticons are highlighted as you move your left stick.

To use a specific one, highlight it and hold the left stick in that position, then let go to launch into that action. Bored with your current selection of emoticons? You can swap any and all of them out by opening your customization options. To do this, tap Options button on your PlayStation 4 controller, or the Menu button on Xbox One. Next, scroll down to the “Communication” tab and select the “Emotion” option.

In the Emotion tab, you’ll be able to view all available emoticons in Jump Force. To add them to your Emoticon Wheel, select the Emotion with X on PlayStation 4 or A on Xbox One, then use your left stick to select a current emoticon to swap out and tap X or A again to confirm the swap. For example, if you want to change “Tenchimoto Stance” to “Gatotsu” you’d select “Gatotsu” from the menu, then hover over where “Tenchimoto Stance” is located on your Emoticon Wheel before tapping X or A to swap it out.

Open your menu, then select Communication and Emotions to view the list of available emoticons in Jump Force.

You can continue to browse through the Emotion menu and swap all eight emoticons on your wheel, or you can replace one or two. When you’re done, simply back out and close the menu, then hold R1 or RB in Umbras Base, use your left stick, and hover over your new emoticon to try it out. Unhappy with your new selection? Repeat the process above to swap it out for something else!
