What Active Points are used for in Jump Force

How to earn Active Points and what they do in Jump Force.

While exploring Umbras Base in Jump Force, you may spot a notification informing you that you’ve earned Active Points. There are a few different ways to earn Active Points, which are then used for one very specific purpose. Unfortunately, that purpose isn’t immediately made clear in the game. To help clear things up, we’ve put together a quick guide on what Active Points are used for in Jump Force, and how to earn them.

In Jump Force, you’ll earn Active Points by doing exactly what their name suggests, being active in the game. For example, you can earn Active Points simply by moving around Umbras Base, and by interacting with NPCs. Doing these things will earn you 2 Active Points, while more time-consuming tasks like completing Missions will earn you 20 Active points.

As for what Active Points are used for, they’re essentially tallied together into your team’s overall score. If you earn 100 Active Points, they’ll be automatically added to your chosen team (Alpha, Beta, or Gamma). Active Points are awarded on a “seasonal” basis, known in Jump Force as an Operation.

At the end of these Operations, the team with the highest number of overall points will get a reward sent to their Rewards Box. In a nutshell, think of Active Points like the points awarded to houses in the Harry Potter series. The more you play Jump Force, and the more activities you partake in, the more Active Points you’ll earn your team.

The incentive for earning Active Points may not be high, but everything gets balanced out by how easy they are to rack up over the course of an Operation. Now that you know what Active Points are used for and how to earn them in Jump Force, what do you think of the system? Do you like team-based rewards, or would you rather focus on independent activities? Let us know down in the comments below!
