Of all Mortal Kombat 11’s messy moves, it’s the Fatalities that unquestionably steal the show when it comes to over the top gore and gruesome finality. The cast of Mortal Kombat 11 can survive an impressive beating, but they certainly won’t live through Fatalities. These special moves can be used at the end of a match to start a special cutscene in which the victor dismembers their opponent in violent and often ridiculous style. How to use Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11
Fatalities can only be used at the very end of a match by the winning player. Once your opponent has run out of health, the FINISH HIM/HER message will appear, giving you the chance to perform a special attack. Any hit will kill them, but you’ll need to learn special inputs to us Fatalities in MK 11. Each character has two Fatalities, and their inputs are distinct sets of movements followed by a specific attack, all input at a certain range. Each Fatality has a range — Close to Medium to Long — which indicates how far away on the screen you should be stood from your enemy. Long indicates the full length of the screen, Medium is around half, and Close is right up next to them. To activate Bakara’s Food for Thought Fatality you need to be stood close to your opponent. When the FINISH HIM/HER message appears, move up close and press the following inputs in exactly this order:
- Back
- Down
- Back
- Back Punch (Triangle on PS4, Y on Xbox One or X on Nintendo Switch)
If you input these correctly then you’ll kick off Bakara’s head-cracking Fatality in which he skewers and eats his opponent’s brain. Classy guy, that Bakara. Of course, this is just one of his, and each other character has two Fatalities, so you'll need to study to remember them all.
