Persona 5 Scramble trailer reveals Dynasty Warriors-style slasher

Persona 5 Scramble is a Musou game coming to PS4 and Switch, according to reveal trailer.

The long-awaited reveal of Persona 5 Scramble (floating around as the rumored P5S) is a Dynasty Warriors-style Musou game from Atlus and Koei Tecmo.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch at some point in the future, though as the Persona 5 Royal trailer yesterday had a 2020 western release date, maybe don't expect P5S to arrive before next year.

In footage shown off in the trailer below, Joker is shown smashing through tens of shadows at once, so it's a classic Musou slasher. Koei Tecmo have joined up with plenty of developers over the past few years to make Warriors spin-offs of their games, including Fire Emblem Warriors and Hyrule Warriors, so the Nintendo Switch version is no surprise now.

We'll be interested to see how Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers evolves the growing storyline of the P5 entry into the series and how it interacts with Persona 5 Royal.
