Is Dauntless cross-platform, cross-play or cross-progress?

Is Dauntless cross-platform with PC and consoles at launch?

Dauntless releases on consoles and the Epic Game Store this week after a lengthy PC-only test client, but will Dauntless be cross-platform on release? The console release of Dauntless is currently out on Xbox One and PS4, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. iOS and Android mobile devices are also planned for the future. If you want to dive in ahead of the Switch release, or just want to play on different platforms, you might be wondering if you'll be able to transfer progress or play with friends on other platforms. In this article we'll look at if Dauntless has crossplay or cross-platform progress.

Is Dauntless cross-platform, cross-play or cross-progress?

The good news is that yes, Dauntless has full cross-platform play between Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and we expect the same to be true for the Switch release. No matter which platform you play on, you can team up with, join guilds and go out on hunts with players from other platforms. You'll even just see them out and about the town of Ramsgate as you play. You can also seamlessly transfer progress between each platform. All Dauntless clients are updated at the same time, which means you can play on any platform with your same slayer to level them up.

The developers, Phoenix Labs, have stated that they wish for the Dauntless experience to be seamless, so expect to be able to play with anyone on any platform and pick up and continue where you left off on any of them either. In conclusion, Dauntless has full crossplay, cross-platform support and progress.
