Can you view Behemoth health bar in Dauntless?

Answering the popular question on whether it's possible to view a Behemoth's health bar in Dauntless.

In Dauntless, you’ll face off against various Behemoth types and work to defeat them by bringing their health down to 0. As you’re fighting against a Behemoth, it can be tempting to look around for an indicator, such as a Behemoth health bar, to let you know how effective your strikes are against it.

As you look around, you’ll likely realize that this health bar is missing. Is it something you can toggle on in the settings? No. To help, we’ve put together a quick guide explaining why you can’t view the health bar of a Behemoth in Dauntless!

The quick answer to this question is no, you can’t view a Behemoth health bar in Dauntless. This design was intentional, making it so you never quite know how close you are to defeating the Behemoth you’re fighting. The developers want you to be engrossed in the experience of battling against massive creatures, rather than focused on damage output.

While you can’t view the health bar of a Behemoth, you can prepare for your fights by reviewing the elemental weaknesses of every Behemoth in Dauntless. That way, when you go off to fight a Charogg whose element is Blaze, you’ll know to bring a Frost weapon with you. The more you play, the easier it’ll be to plan for your next fight, and the more effective your weapons will be as you work to improve them.

In the future, it’s possible that Phoenix Labs may add the option to view a Behemoth health bar in Dauntless depending on the total of player requests they receive. In the meantime, you can stay up-to-date on Dauntless by joining the official subreddit, and keeping an eye out for new guides on AllGamers!
