In Dauntless, there are various items you can farm for and craft with, including Conductive Shockspine. Like Scorchscale, Conductive Shockspine can only be acquired by hunting a specific Behemoth. Keep in mind that it’s not guaranteed that Conductive Shockspine will drop right away when fighting these Behemoths, as it’s a rarer material in Dauntless.

How to Get Conductive Shockspine in Dauntless

Conductive Shockspine is a rare material that drops from a Behemoth called the Shockjaw Nayzaga. Note that Conductive Shockspine will not drop from regular Nayzaga types. To find the Shockjaw Nayzaga that drops Conductive Shockspine, you’ll need to explore the Aulric’s Refuge area of the Maelstrom in the Shattered Isles.
Note that this area isn’t beginner friendly as it contains a plethora of dangers, including powerful Behemoths like the Shockjaw Nayzaga. To defeat the Shockjaw Nayzaga, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with its element and elemental weakness. Because the Shockjaw Nazaga occupies the Shock family, you’ll want to equip yourself with a weapon that deals powerful Terra damage (preferably one that also offers Shock resistance).
For example, Skarn’s Judgement and Skarn’s Malice both offer adequate Terra damage. Once you have your ideal Terra weapon equipped, head out to Aulric’s Refuge and hunt for Shockjaw Nayzaga. As you’re fighting against the Shockjaw Nayzaga, keep in mind that you’ll want to strike the Behemoth’s back.
The reason for this is because Conductive Shockspine only drops when you break the Shockjaw Nayzaga’s back. Even then, given the rarity of the material, it may take you a few hunts to get enough Conductive Shockspine to craft with. Using Conductive Shockspine, you’ll be able to craft and improve Nayzaga gear in Dauntless like the Shocking Heart.
