Astral Chain will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive

The game will release on August 30 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

During Nintendo's E3 2019 presentation, a brand new trailer for Astral Chain was shown. The trailer offers new insight into the game's setting and characters, and also offered crucial information for fans interested in purchasing the game. Based on the details from the Nintendo Direct, Astral Chain will release as a Nintendo Switch exclusive on August 30.

The trailer for Astral Chain immediately captures your attention, and spotlights some of the characters featured in the game along with setting and story elements. If the trailer has you hyped for Astral Chain, a release date was confirmed for August 30. Not only will Astral Chain drop this August, it'll also launch as a Switch exclusive in both North America and Europe.

Astral Chain is the latest from PlatinumGames, the studio behind famous properties like Bayonetta. Based on information from the press release, the game is being directed by Takahisa Taura who worked on NieR: Automata, and is being supervised by Hideki Kamiya, the creator of Bayonetta. Astral Chain will give players the ability to work with a special police force alongside a living weapon called "Legion."
