As stated above, the Power Slide is a helpful tool in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled that will allow you to take corners with ease. Using this information, you’ll know that the Power Slide should be used while you’re inside of a turn. For timing, you’ll need to hold down RT on Xbox One, R1 on PlayStation 4, or R on Nintendo Switch right as you’re entering the turn.

When timed correctly, you’ll initiate a Power Slide that will allow you to take the turn without slowing. Not only will this help you avoid excessive braking that can slow you down, you can also use it to activate a Turbo Boost. To activate a Turbo Boost from a Power Slide, you’ll need to tap LT on Xbox One, L2 on PlayStation 4, or L on Nintendo Switch.

Using Turbo Boost, you can increase your speed even more and push past your opponents. For example, if you spot the 1st place racer right next to you and you’re in 2nd place, you can use Turbo Boost to push past them and snag that 1st place position.
