There are two map options available in Stranger Things 3: The Game, one for the area you're in, and a full world map. To fast travel, you'll need to open the world map by traveling to the edge of the map area you're currently in.

The answer to the question of whether you can fast travel in Stranger Things 3: The Game is both yes, and no. As you play the game, you’ll unlock new areas which you can explore and backtrack to as needed. To view your map, you’ll need to tap the Touch Pad on PS4 or equivalent (depending on where you’re playing the game) to open your in-game menu.

In the menu, you can tab between your Quests, Party, and the Map. Keep in mind that this map only shows you a breakdown of the area you’re currently in. To view the full world map, you’ll need to walk to the edge of the map area you’re in as indicated by a row of arrows pointing out. Exit the map area and you’ll open the full world map.

Here, you can “fast travel” to other areas by using your d-pad to move and highlight different where you want to go. If you’re in Hawkins Square but need to go to Hopper’s Cabin, highlight Hopper’s Cabin, then press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to confirm, and you’ll immediately travel to that area. Overall, it’s pretty easy to get where you need to go in Stranger Things 3: The Game. The more you play, the more area options you’ll unlock.
