As you explore Hess Farm in Stranger Things 3: The Game, you’ll find a puzzle with four golden bears. In the beginning, only one of the four bears will be displayed. To get the other three bears, you’ll need to search the underground Russian area of Hess Farm for chests that have been tucked away in different rooms.

Once you have all four golden bears displayed on their respective platform, each will need to be turned to face a specific direction in order to unlock and open the adjacent door. The underground area of Hess Farm is a formidable maze in Stranger Things 3: The Game, and is filled with puzzles, including the Four Bears Puzzle. As noted above, only one of the four golden bears will be displayed when you discover this puzzle. To get the other three golden bears, you’ll need to explore the nearby area and open chests hidden in various rooms.

As added incentive, you may stumble across a collectible Gnome as you look for golden bears in this area of the Hess Farm underground! Once you grab the three remaining golden bears, return to the puzzle area and place one on each empty platform. After this, each bear will need to face a unique direction in order to open the door.

While it may seem like there are no clues, a nearby corpse actually contains a note with hints on how to complete the Four Bears Puzzle in Stranger Things 3: The Game. In the note, players are instructed to turn the third bear opposite the second, with the final bear “turning its back on its brothers.”

In the image above, you can see the final lineup for the Four Bears Puzzle. The first bear faces the right, the second bear faces the wall, the third bear faces you, and the final bear faces the right. By putting the bears in these positions, you’ll solve the Four Bears Puzzle and the door to your left will open, allowing you to pass through into the next area of the Hess Farm underground in Stranger Things 3: The Game!
