In Stranger Things 3: The Game, you’ll need to search Hess Farm for clues. The general Hess Farm area is comprised of the main house and a storage shed. While you can find a collectible Gnome over in the storage shed, it’s the main house you’ll want to explore. Inside the main house, everything seems quiet, though you’ll notice what appears to be a secret entrance that’s blocked.

This entrance leads underneath the house. To unlock the entrance to the underground area of Hess Farm, you’ll need to complete a short puzzle. For clues on how to solve the puzzle, interact with the telephone spotted as you first enter the house. As you listen to the phone recording you’ll hear weird codes like, “Cold Borscht served at 2:00.”

These codes relate to tasks you’ll need to complete in order to open secret underground entrance. To make this easier, the answers to the codes given on the phone are as follows:

  • Swing both antlers on the moose head down to face the ground.
  • Turn the golden bear statue around until it faces the window.
  • Adjust the grandfather clock to 9:00.
  • Set oven to 200 degrees.

By doing all of these correctly, you should get a prompt informing you that your efforts have been successful and the underground entrance is now open. Venturing into the underground area, you’ll encounter other puzzles, including the Four Golden Bears puzzle which we’ve also solved in a recent guide.

Overall, the Hess Farm puzzle is somewhat complicated in that the clues you’re given are a little odd. The important thing to keep in mind when solving the Hess Farm puzzle is that you’ll need to interact with the moose head, golden bear statue, grandfather clock, and oven to access the underground area.
