Based on the trailer, it seems like Minecraft Earth will mirror other AR titles like Pokemon GO and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite while also offering Minecraft’s core creative gameplay. If you’re wondering how to sign up for the Minecraft Earth closed beta, the good news is that it’s easier than you might think. First, you’ll need to head over to the Minecraft Earth website, scroll down, then click the “Sign Up Now” button. After that, you’ll be taken to a page with details and requirements for Minecraft Earth along with another “Sign Me Up” button.
Keep in mind that you’ll need access to a device that runs at least iOS 10 or Android 7 to be able to run Minecraft Earth. Other info needed to qualify for the closed beta include an Xbox Live or Microsoft account, app store log-in, and answers “to a few questions” before your sign-up is complete.
To make things a bit more exciting, you’ll receive a free skin in Minecraft Earth as well as Minecraft Bedrock by signing up for the closed beta.
