Today marks the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and just like the preceding games in the series it brings an enormous roster of playable characters. Superheroes (and some villains) from across Marvel’s enormous network of comics and movies have joined together to battle with evil once more, with a total of 42 playable characters. Of course not everyone could make the cut, so to save you time wondering if your favorites made it, here’s the complete character list for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

There are 36 playable characters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order at launch, or 37 if you count Groot and Rocket Racoon separately. Including the announced DLC characters, the total rises to 42. Be warned, some of these characters start off as bosses, so if you don’t want any spoilers, click away now.
New favorites like Black Panther, Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales make an entrance, along with many returning classics such as Captain America and Daredevil. Some characters like Cyclops and Colossus will be arriving post-launch as free DLC, while others like Blade are to be included in paid DLC.
