Wolfenstein: Youngblood is currently scheduled to release on July 26, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. For PC users, you’ll have access to the game a full day early on July 25 according to Bethesda. Keeping the release date in mind, you’ll be able to pick up and play Wolfenstein: Youngblood on Thursday for PC and Friday on platforms like Nintendo Switch alongside games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

For many, Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s release date comes as something of a surprise as Bethesda has been light on promoting the game. Wondering where it stands in the series? Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a standalone sequel to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus that takes around “25 to 30 hours to complete” according to MachineGames executive producer Jerk Gustafsson.

In the synopsis, the game is described as taking place 19 years after Wolfenstein II after the Second American Revolution. Rather than focus on B. J. Blazkowicz it’ll instead center around his twin daughters, Jessica and Sophia. In a nutshell, think of Wolfenstein: Youngblood as a prequel to Wolfenstein 3. Core gameplay will include the standard single-player campaign, as well as two-player co-op.

Excited to pick up a copy of the game? Again, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is scheduled to release on July 25 for PC and July 26 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It’s priced at $29.99 and will take around 25 to 30 hours to complete.

Now that you know when Wolfenstein: Youngblood is scheduled to release and on what platforms, what are your thoughts?
