The quick answer to the question of whether you can play as B. J. Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein: Youngblood is no, you can’t. While B. J. Blazkowicz isn’t a playable character in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, he is featured in several story cutscenes. The main focus of Wolfenstein: Youngblood is that B. J. Blazkowicz has gone missing and it’s up to his family to track down his whereabouts.

Specifically, Wolfenstein: Youngblood lets you play as Blazkowicz’s twin daughters, Sophia and Jessica. Even though you’re unable to play as Blazkowicz himself, it’s nice that the game keeps everything within the same family. In the future, new modes may be added to Wolfenstein: Youngblood that feature B. J. Blazkowicz in some way, but until then, you’re restricted to Sophia and Jessica as playable characters.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Wolfenstein: Youngblood isn’t Wolfenstein 3. It’s possible that once Wolfenstein 3 drops, you’ll be able to play as B. J. Blazkowicz once more.

Now that you know whether you can play as B. J. Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, be sure to check out some of our other features on the game including how to change the difficulty in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, whether there’s split-screen available in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and how long it’ll take you to beat Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
