To answer the question of whether you can repair rusted weapons in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the answer is yes, you can. Any rusted weapon you pick up on the battlefield and add to your inventory can be repaired and/or forged at the Blacksmith. You can also sell rusted weapons for quick money, though it’s often a better idea to go through the process of repairing rusted weapons rather than selling them.

To acquire rusted weapons, you’ll want to take part in battles. During battle, keep an eye out for glowing purple tiles. When one of your characters stands and waits on a glowing purple tile they have a chance to receive dropped items on the battlefield, including rusted weapons. After the battle ends, you can pay a visit to the Marketplace and interact with the Blacksmith in order to repair or forge your rusted weapons in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Before you spend resources, you’ll first want to see what sort of item you’re dealing with. To do this, you can view the stats of your rusted weapon by opening your inventory, selecting it, then tapping “X” to expand the stats. In these stats, you’ll be informed what the item can be forged into at the Blacksmith. If the forged item isn’t worth the cost and effort, you can sell it.

However, if you notice the item will improve into something you want, you can choose to forge it. To forge your rusted weapon, interact with the Blacksmith and select the “Forge” option. Next, select the rusted weapon, then exchange the materials needed to begin the forging process. Any rusted weapon you acquire can be repaired or forged, so be sure to seek out purple titles on the battlefield in Fire Emblem: Three Houses!
