Reports of a save bug have been made by people playing the Blue Lions house in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. During The Silver Maiden paralogue under the Blue Lions route, players like Twitch streamer Trapslow have encountered a bug capable of breaking all progress you’ve made with the game.

To get this save bug, you’ll need to manually save during the Preparation aspect of The Silver Maiden paralogue. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to close out of the game. When you return, you’ll discover that you’re unable to continue the paralogue. You’re literally stuck at the start of the battlefield.

If you have other save files besides your manual save, you can interact with them to continue the game. For example, if you have a single manual save but your autosave is functional, you can pick up where you left off using the autosave. If your autosave isn’t up-to-date and you only have a single manual save that’s been impacted by the bug, you could find all of your progress lost.

In the future, this bug will likely be patched out of the game. Until then, you should avoid saving during the Preparation phase of The Silver Maiden paralogue while playing under the Blue Lions house, then avoid closing out of the game. To circumvent the issue, you can always wait to save the game until after you’ve completed the paralogue.

You can also have other save files available so if your main save file is impacted, you can jump back in without losing all of your progress. Now that you know how to avoid the Blue Lions save bug in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, we’re curious to know your thoughts. Have you encountered this bug? Are there other issues you’ve experienced while playing? Let us know down in the comments below!
