Show Some Mercy
You can read a lot of historically accurate accounts of soldiers showing the enemy mercy, or just general compassion for one another. There’s the Christmas Truce of 1914, for example. You just don’t often see it in a video game, but it’s become something of a norm between tanks and infantry soldiers in Battlefield 1. Watch as this tank has the player dead to rights, the player begs for mercy by shaking their head, and then the tank acknowledges and drives away. You just don’t see that very often, folks.
