The Story Mode of Jump Force consists of 9 distinct chapters, all of which introduce new plot elements. By playing through Story Mode, you’ll be able to unlock new characters, and earn Gold by completing Key Missions. To get a feel for what to expect, we’ve listed all 9 chapters from the Story Mode in Jump Force down below.

  • Chapter 1: Seeds of Evil
  • Chapter 2: The Big Bad
  • Chapter 3: The Mysterious Woman
  • Chapter 4: An Insidious Plot
  • Chapter 5: Replicas
  • Chapter 6: The Twisted Entourage
  • Chapter 7: Creation
  • Chapter 8: The Puppetmaster
  • Chapter 9: Darkness & Light

The opening chapters are relatively short and simple, though as you progress, the chapters will get a bit longer and more drawn out. That said, it shouldn’t take you longer than 15 hours to complete the Story Mode of Jump Force depending on how you decide to approach the game.

For example, if you’re someone who wants to try your hand at online ranked matches, you can always take a break from Story Mode after completing a chapter. You can also complete Free Missions to earn the Gold needed to purchase new Outfits for your avatar. If you focus solely on Story Mode and nothing else, you’ll likely be able to complete it in 10 hours or less.

For us, we landed somewhere in the middle with approximately 13 hours to complete the Story Mode of Jump Force. Keep in mind we also wanted to test out all of the other available activities in Jump Force from Free Missions to customizing the Emoticon Wheel and using it to interact with other players.

Even though the Story Mode aspect of Jump Force is brief, it offers enough action and lore to help Jump Force come together as its own unique Bandai Namco offering. If you’re currently grinding through Story Mode, what are your thoughts so far? Do you like how the story is presented, or would you rather spend all your time fighting other players? Let us know down in the comments below!
