If you can get your hands on them, these tanks are surprisingly enjoyable!

Pz.Kpfw. IV Schmalturm
Though the Panzer IV S was removed from the Premium shop and in-game tech tree in 2015 as part of the retirement process, it remains an underdog when compared to other Premium tanks still available. Anyone who has their hands on this Tier 6 German Medium will tell you that—while it’s not the biggest and greatest Premium tank—it’s one that can be quite rewarding.
The Schmaltrum does have a few shortcomings including slow turret traverse, weak hull armor, and low alpha damage, but it makes up for these negatives. A few of its qualities include sturdy frontal turret armor, allowing it to make use of a hull-down position, good penetration for a Tier 6 Medium tank, and competitive accuracy ratings.
Tanks like the Panzer IV S reinforces the idea that, as a collector, it can be worthwhile picking up tanks when they’re available, as there’s no telling when a discontinued Premium tank will become a hidden gem.
